Guest guest
Steph, Have you read Suzanne Somer’s new book called “Breakthrough” – PLEASE READ IT FOR ME! This book is life-changing, every human being should read this amazing book. It talks about Aldosterone, all the hormones and so many other things that we are all going through, she interviews all the top notch “natural” doctors and it has amazing stories of recovery and cures. And it’s true, I had many bladder and UTI infections until I found out about D-Mannose powder, it cures it. Also, they talk about Aldosterone and how those who are losing their hearing need aldosterone to regain their hearing and that is sooo true, it does work! Post thyroidectomy you can get a thyroglobulin level and monitor this. It is the marker they use post RAI but it also is a marker that can be used from the reference point. Only thyroid tissue and cancer make this protein. You can also monitor with ultrasounds. Nuc Med I-123 scans may work too. I am still on the fence as to whether having a damaged thyroid is better than removing it. I have a friend who has healed of thyroid cancer naturally but she struggles with her thyroid sputtering off and on due to hashi's. I do not have this. My thyroid is gone and I just replace what I need. There is no balance of what your thyroid will do and the medication fills in. I have been on the same dose for 3 years. That being said, I have a medical professional friend who says it is better to remove cancerous tissue and then heal the body. I just don't know. I definitely would not do RAI. I might try to use Selenium, Magnesium, Iodine, Vit C and detoxing to heal it first. My mom had nodules on her thyroid. Only and U/S was done on it. No nuc med scan and no fine needles so who knows what it is. We are doing natural methods to shrink her nodule. Not sure if that helps. Guest guest
It sounds interesting but right now I have all I can handle on my plate. I need to get back at my school work and I have a book I promised Dr. B and the Author I would read. *wink* I just don't have enough time in my day. I wish I could clone myself. My husband has been travelling a lot lately too which makes it more difficult to get things done. Glad you found it inspirational. I will tuck it on my wish list for later.
