Guest guest
It looks like it is going to be a lot more expensive buying from International Pharmacy now if we are to pay VAT on the goods/postage plus VAT and £8 to the post office to collect the fee. How much do DHL charge you Val when you use them? I am wondering if it may well work out cheaper with them. Mo Hi Ali, Some people can take their pred every other day, so the normal once a day is fine for this. Personally I would not be happy to be on pred for long, I think hc is much kinder to the body, although some people do prefer pred. I would try to get someone to lend you some hc which you can refund when you get yours, to take pred for the shortest time possible. Your meds may be held up by royal mail. We really should ask them if there is any chance of them using DHL instead or rather how much they would charge for this instead, as they do not hold up meds but later send the bill for VAT instead, and also only charge a nominal amount for this. Val I ordered some Cortef on the 19/01 from the International Pharmacy and it has still not arrived! I think the money has come out of my bank. Guest guest
What do you mean £8 to the post office? When I order from there as I have just done now, I have paid an extra £6 postage and all my packages have been delivered by my postman and I havent had to pay anymore, I have just ordered some more cortef even though I have enough for 3 weeks I thought I better as there seems to be some delay on it. You are right though if what you say is true it is going to be more expensive to order from them and the drugs are expensive enough without all this extra added on It looks like it is going to be a lot more expensive buying from International Pharmacy now if we are to pay VAT on the goods/postage plus VAT and £8 to the post office to collect the fee. Guest guest
If they have to open the package to check what it is, the post office charge extra for repackaging. Lilian What do you mean £8 to the post office?
Guest guest
Hi , At the moment it’s a lottery as to whether a package will be delayed and charged or not. Subject: Re: Re:Cortef order has still not arrived!!
Guest guest
Hi So I could end up paying more when its delivered? I never have and its always been delivered by the postman, maybe this time it will be different? I hope not as this is becoming all too expensive Hi , At the moment it’s a lottery as to whether a package will be delayed and charged or not. Guest guest
Have you considered talking to your GP about the possibility of him prescribing it for you . You might have to see an endocrinologist who would recommend it first though. Luv - Sheila So I could end up paying more when its delivered?
