Halibut Oil and Vit E

Hi

Chang thinks part of my gall bladder problem is the fact I take these vitamins. Anyone have any problem with these? I started on them as I had arthritis and couldn't get my hands moving in the morning. My Mom has taken these for years and she got me going on this and the arthritis disappeared. No, this is not a scientifically proven, but it worked for me. Any comments form anyone?

I'm asking:

Did you think to ask her why alcohol (like in her tinctures)

assures passage of other substances into the liver/gallbladder?

I am wondering if her objection to the oil supplements has

anything to do with how they are metabolized by the liver

(very differently from alcohol, which she prefers--obviously),

but what are the critical differences, I wonder?

How do you feel about writing back to her and asking her

to distinguish between exactly how an oil-based supplement vs.

an alcohol-based one is more detrimental or advantageous

to the liver/gb?

I think most of us have been trained to believe that oils

(at least " good " ones) are supposed to be good for us, while

consuming alcohol is bad for us, so it's very logical to ask

why you're being told to avoid an oil " health " supplement

and take an alcohol supplement, a form that's ordinarily

considered detrimental to health. I, for one, would really

like to hear her answer!!
