I would also like to acquire the science on that to make it factual. Speaking for myself I've done enough of these flushes to know that each is slightly different, in one way or another, and that my use of and non-use of Epsom salts has produced results. Some people find the taste of Epsom salts too minerally but it's not nearly as dry or tannic as trying a mineral toddy. Adding a little lemon has helped some to tolerate its taste a bit. My stone passages resulted in enlarged liver ducts, at least that's what it showed back in October of 99, but I'm fairly confident that's changed by now since that was over a year ago. I also had various levels of discomfort for a number of days afterward my flushes, but, as or today I'm still without an attack for almost 1-1/2 years. One of the biggest changes in my life has been the consumption of greater amounts of various EFAs, along with, a major reduction in the amount of saturated and hydrogenated fats I consume. I also have some other therapies that I do along with the better diet and supplements. I also utilize a special process of doing a gallbladder flush by way of colonics. When I know I'm going to be getting a cleanse, around three hours before the cleanse I'll down about 3 to 4 ounces of olive oil. This usually will result in a very extensive but fairly smooth liver flush for me, but it sure makes for an oily viewing window that has to be cleaned by the therapist. I wouldn't pay much mind to the rumor of the false stones.
