Guest guest
Has anyone checked your thyroid? Sleep apnea is closely tied to hypothyroidism. It's also tied to being overweight. Steph Is iodine deficiency linked to poor tissue integrity? HiI saw an ENT dr last week as i'm having problems sleeping and suspect sleep apnea. He examined me and said i had tissue collapse/obstruction in my throat. Is iodine deficiency linked to this condition? I have been told to lose weight etc which i'll try to do but wondered if there's anything else i need to do?thankschris
Guest guest
I'm wheat free, gluten, wheat, barley and rye and I feel 100% better. I wish I would of done this 25 years ago.No more 30 times ot the bathroom in one day and food is actually starting to stay in me a bit longer so it was well worth it for me to omit this from my diet. from IllinoisFrom: <chrisjtaylor46@...>iodine Sent: Wed, December 23, 2009 11:55:50 AMSubject: Is iodine deficiency linked to poor tissue integrity? Guest guest
Hi , I am new to the group and I totally agree! My son and I are gluten free as well as dairy and soy free and I am already feeling soo much better! I’ve read also (and hoping this will be the case) that thyroid issues may go away once removing gluten from your diet for approximately 6 months. It’s been a few months for me so far and will see what happens. I’m praying that it will help! Guest guest
Thanks Steph i didn't get an rt3 test done as it was too expensive - had to pay for the full thyroid test myself and rt3 would have doubled the price though i wish i'd have had both now. that is very interesting about liver toxicity: what symptoms could this give me? i will google it but it could well fit. i hope it's that simple as cleaning up my diet i'm often cold yes, though hc makes me a bit warmer. basal temp is about 97.1, sometimes 96.8f (36-36.2c) chris > > Too high FT3 is usually tied with high RT3 which means your body is over producing T3 and you are not able to use it. This is common in liver toxicity issues. If you clean up your diet - fresh fruits and veggies, good clean meat and fats you will clean up your liver - even doing a liver detox helps make it go faster. You will bring your RT3 down and your body will be able to use the T3. I suspect you are still hypothyroid even with normal thyroid levels. How are your body temps? Are you cold? Have you taken your basal body temp. It should be 97.8 or higher. > > > >

Guest guest
could be but earlier in the year i could somewhat tolerate t3; i lost my ability to tolerate naturethroid after a bad case of campylobacter. (potassium?) i just think ther are things going on in my body i don't can't work out. will check out the liver thing thanks chris > > I have no thyroid - maybe that is the difference. I don't have an RT3 issue either. > > Steph >
