Guest guest
i'm wondering if taking iodoral w/o thyroid meds will raise low body temps. (mine average the low 97's for basal, and the high 97 to low 98's daytime). i've been taking 1 iodoral a day for a couple of months now, along w/selenium, and an OTC thyroid supplement which has low dose of thyroid glandular. i'm also taking isocort (6/day) for adrenal fatigue. my labs showed possible rt3 problem. working w/an ND who is not that knowledgeable about these issues and very conservative with prescribing any meds. she's also diagnosed me w/mild CFS. thx susan
Guest guest
it has for me when I started last February my temps (just taken randomly orally not basil) were always 96 something, they came up into the 97 range for several months then in the last few weeks they have been consistently 98 or higher so I am making progress. I have been at several doses of iodoral over those months as I worked through bromide and candida symptoms I have been as high as 100 mg and am currently at 25 mg daily I was pulsing for a while at 25 M-F and sat and sun off. I bet if I averaged out out these months I probably would average around 50 mg a day, Well that got me thinking and so I stopped mid email and did go count up everything LOL I averaged it out including all my days off and over the 302 days since I started, all the various doses average out to 45 mg a day. So the iodoral may be enough to help your temps if you take enough, but for some people only thyroid meds help with that. I know I was deficient in the companion nutrients as well so it can be the whole picture that needs to be balanced out and not just the iodine alone Engtovo will iodine alone raise body temp Posted by: "V" earthyred@... earthyred Thu Dec 24, 2009 8:35 am (PST) i'm wondering if taking iodoral w/o thyroid meds will raise low body temps.
