Going public with my medical notes

Hi everyone, have decided to go public with my medical notes (anonymously of

course, no names mentioned and change a few facts so no one could possibly know

it's me lol!!). Of course I will seek legal advice first lol. I am using them to

write an article and post it wherever I can. I believe it is the best way I can

help others, to share my experiences. There is a whole bunch of crap (sorry lol)

basically on my notes, comments made by GP's trying to cover themselves. They

neglected to mention the personal comments they made that had me in tears, of

course, instead putting stuff like " Ruth seems upset and very tearful " .

Complaining again I feel won't do any good, they all stick together don't they

and lie lol. The pen is mightier than the sword so they say and I can no longer

'hold my tongue' lol. Sorry if this sounds negative but I'm a tad angry, not for

myself but for others that have had the same treatment and take it without

question. There is one GP in particular I'd like to see named and shamed but

will resist the temptation in case I'm done for slander lol. Chatting to people

who have been under his care, there seems to be an awful lot that have been

diagnosed with ME/CFS and written off, as he did with me and told to " learn to

live with your symptoms " and they do and it makes me want to cry because if I

had done that I wouldn't be here now to type this. I have to believe karma will

catch up with him and he will suffer the same and be as miserable as they are

however harsh that sounds. The last consultation I had with him he told me to

leave and not go back because I was " wasting his time " , that I " shouldn't

question " him because he " had gone to medical school " and I hadn't and I was

insulting his " intelligence " , that I was " distrustful " and, and he had had

enough of women like me and to go away and live my " sad little life " . I asked

him why he was a doctor if he didn't care about his patients. He avoided eye

contact then turned away, had obviously struck a nerve there lol. It's just a

job to him. I walked out in tears (again) slamming the door. I'm not one to

argue or get angry but enough was enough that day. He just kept insisting there

was nothing wrong with me because the blood tests said so. I'm sure I'm not the

only one that's been there sadly. Luckily I found a GP who thinks " blood tests

are a load of rubbish " and LISTENS to me lol. They do exist :-) thank god. X
