If you drop it is harder to get it back up. I know that in WA donates without a problem, but still. I was 12.8 and six months later I am 11.7 for no apparent reason. That *might* affect my energy level, not sure. I was always in the high 13's when I was younger, even though I had periods back then. I feel " out of shape " when I do anything physical and wonder now if it is the lower Hct? I am not anemic yet, by the way, but only one tenth of a percent off. Guest guest Report post Posted October 25, 2003 Best to you Marta on the 28th--- the pain is secondary to the relief of having the hernia/s and panni gone forever--- at least the panni. We're off to Baton Rouge to watch the LSU-Auburn game. Think Mel will be there? Guest guest Report post Posted October 27, 2003 Hi Marta! I hope you are doing well with your internal cleansing and will go into surgery tomorrow with a flat tummy (well...as flat as it can be). I wish you an uneventful surgery, speedy recovery...and a flat-bellied, tiny you! I'll be praying for you, Marta. Go with my best wishes. I told them they don't need to stay with me. I might even drive myself there and let them come pick up my car later. I am afraid the muscle work will be painful. Guest guest Report post Posted October 28, 2003 Mel, Thanks for the thoughts. Hey, if I can't reach it, it ain't getting wiped! LOL! I don't think I will need any of that type of help. I just won't want to bend over for a couple weeks, I suppose, something like that. Marta
Guest guest Report post Posted October 28, 2003 Well, Betsy, no noodles for me! Last night I was so hungry I made Lipton soup and ate much of the noodles and was bloated this morning in spite of the Mag citrate. That is one reason why I am not more upset. Today I am less hungry, drinking a smoothie right now so as to feel less hungry. Eating candy! You know, for the sugar. Drinking Pepsi. None of those things should make me full or bloated. I guess I bought two mag citrates for a reason, huh? LOL! Anyway, I said the hell with my headache and took a half a Vicodin and a full Sudafed. THen I cleaned house for a couple hours, surprise! Nothing like drugs to get me in the mood. Maybe that is why Vicodin is so popular! LOL! I *still* haven't received my halter pics. Tylar says it can take hours for pics to come from the phone. Marta who bent over and looked at myself in a mirror again, when will I learn?

I read once that fibro pts often had pain relief from annesthesia because of the body relaxation and it helps stop chronic muscle spasms...Thought that was interesting...Wonder if I should just be put under every 6 months or so...LOL. I believe it because I had good pain relief after my neck surgery and it didn't come back until the PT. Every visit I got a little worse until I was right back where I was pre op. in Bama http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/myhomepage/profile.html Rny to Ds revision 12/03 Down104lbs!! I ate a turkey patty tonight! Pure protein. I hope your doc says the same thing to you because you really wont' feel like eating for a few days after anesthesia. Guest guest Report post Posted November 1, 2003 > What pain? I read once that fibro pts often had pain relief from annesthesia Like last year, when I went to surgery I was having pain in my left arm. I am not sure what it was from this time. Last time I knew for sure it was from my neck. This time I thought it was from either the long drive everyday or from my heavy bag I lug with me everywhere. I woke up with it gone, in fact, I was counting on it. I was so excited my blood pressure was 159/100 and they had to recheck it after a few minutes! LOL! I was not scared, that is for sure. If any of you pre-ops get , he is cool. He is the nurse anesthetist and did such a good job I told Dr.K to thank him for me. What a sweety! I told him I have reflux so he did rapid induction so he could intubate me quickly. He told me I would wake up with no pain, and boy, he did not lie. Marta la la la la la... Guest guest Report post Posted November 30, 2003 Ed, I concur. I am glad we met, however, you certainly are no dullard! So, I look young and slim, huh? Aw, shucks! P'shaw! I wish we had had more time to spend together. I think I was in some type of hurry, can't remember why. Oh, I had an apt. with Dr.K that afternoon, that's right! Guest guest Report post Posted December 11, 2003 Marta, I'm so sorry you have to put up with some of the rudest people. I know there are many out there but you seem to get more than your fair share.
