Guest guest Report post Posted May 25, 2003 Hi Pat! Great photos -- you are looking so good. I saw you last at my 3-month post op and you were having so much trouble with your incision and visiting Dr. K -- you look so much more rested and less stressed now (of course, while we love to visit Dr. K there is a big difference between being with family and being at the doctor)! LOL I am so glad you had a good time with your 3 grandkids and your great granddaughter that you have just seen! Hugs and blessings, Ann

Guest guest Report post Posted June 3, 2003 Lileyn, You are sooo right..again here I go being judgemental..but for people who buy a cat or a dog for their convenience of course until they have to move somewhere, or they meet someone who doesn't like animals, or they have a child...people need to understand that when PLANNING to have an animal in your life it should be for LIFE...if one plans to have children in the future, they need to think of the type of breed of dog (or cat) would be most family oriented- compatible...it makes my heart sad when i see this happening -erica (ms.diva) > Dear Kristy I have a wonderful Shi-tzu dog named Snuffy.....some woman had paid over four hundred dollars for him kept him two years and got rid of him .....dumped him off at the dog pound...she wrote the reason for dumping him was she had a baby and didn't have time for him any more...I thought " lady don't have another kid 'cause then you'll have to drop one off at the shelter " I was very mad at the lady for a long time as Snuffy suffers from separation anxiety syndrome....gets terrified I will dump him too....however I am over that and am so grateful to have him ....as I adore him and he is a sweet a dog as can be...I have had him for 7 years now .....and I have never had a dog shadow before....when I leave the room in the motor home he is right behind me ..were ever I go he goes also....I think dumping your animal is right up there with dumping your kid.....ya just don't do that... period...I am so glad that you Kristy are of the same mind set........Bless you ....and may your new job give you.... joy....pleasure...peace of mind.... happiness...and money....(((((hugs))))) Lilyen > >

Guest guest Report post Posted July 7, 2003 > Marta > Who thanks God for good friends. Thank You Marta for opening your home to us and giving us all the opportunity to get together and have such a great day. I am sorry Mike and I had to leave, as the 2nd round of protien sounds better than the first! And I just love grilled chicken. But alas, we had a very busy and full weekend and my DH was falling asleep in his chair and we still had a long drive home so we had to go. We didnt leave until after 6, when did this party wind down? LOL It was great fun and so good to see everyone, and we had so much food and so few there....just know guys we did you proud and ate bunches! It wasnt that hot either, just in the high ninties. The pool wasnt to cold, and the company was great. you look fantastic. Your arms etc, are healing quite nicely and you look great. Nick is just a former shadow of himself. Jo and Suzanne are the tiniest things, and so cute in their suits. Anne doesnt look like she ever had surgery or needed it in the first place. Pat has her very flat tummy, and then there was ..who couldnt even work up a sweat! from woodlake, you are looking goood! Keep up the good work, and Tammy you too are looking gooood, and the cookies were great! We met Glenda from Texas and her husband Butch, they know Lee. Her surgery is the 15th (I believe) so it is just around the corner. Marta you are getting so tiny...we had such a good time, thank you so much! I dont know if I forgot anyone I hope I didnt, please forgive me if I did. Of course there was all our families and friends with us, But I have to teel you all- when I left there was over a half of the protien cake left! I am hoping you all cleaned it up later! So sorry that so many couldnt be there but hope to see you all in Aug. Marta, thanks again, had a great time Sharon in Onyx who is sorry the weekend is over, cause it was such a fun time

Jo and I swam in the dark, it was sweet. > > Marta > Who stashed a few cookies and protein cake for later, like the former fat person she is! Idalia came? I didnt know she was coming! Oh, well....we barely made it home unpacked and went to bed. We were pooped! Sounds like you guys had a great time, We will be there in August, and I will bring the cake again...that is if no one objects...lol I should have brought some of the cookies and cake home with me...I could use a snack right now, lol. You got the former part right, you are no longer fat! You dont have to worry about your house, we didnt come to see it, we came to see you. Guest guest Report post Posted July 7, 2003 Betsy, Sorry to miss you! I will be moving at the end of July, so I will miss the pool party in August. Tomorrow night's meeting will be my last one for quite some time! I am really going to miss the meetings. It has been a mainstay for me for the last 2 1/2 years. I go more now for the frienship connection and because I feel good going and showing the newcomers that the DS does work. I have property in Washington that will be mine in about 10 days. I am excited and rushed! So much to do, and so little time to do it all. WHEW!

Having had a hysterectomy and no ovaries AND having those oh-so-tempting goodies here at home, I have come to attest that desire does NOT go away (although Estrace is necessary because of, ahem, personal dryness). Hot damn, I just love those goodies (and the man that goes along with them)! LOL So, Marta, though my parts have also fallen, they are not unusable! Heeheehee You just need to find a gentleman with the appropriate goodies (good grief are there no single male doctors around) in order to release the wild woman in you.
