Guest guest
GO TAMI!!!!!!!!Whhhooooo HHooooooo!! You are a bright and shining star! You continue to inspire me daily. Thank you! W from Oz Getting closer Hi guys, How are you today? I hope this is finding you in good spirits and health. Bonnie, how's that baby doing? I'm sitting here feeling a little jealous! I love babies and would love to be in your shoes right now. You are such a fabulous person, I bet those grandchildren live for the days they get to go to Grandmas house. Thank you everyone who sent me such kind letters after viewing my pictures. I am such a blessed person. I am amazed and awed at how fortunate I have been in every area of my life. The Lord has been so good us, just because He loves us. Isn't that exciting!Well, I'm glad today we are able to sit before the computer, without cameras to show our appearances! I think you'd be getting a good laugh out of this girl. I have been using the LL video 2, with the stretch bands video. I also am using the "Body Wrap System," for that extra boost, that's were it gets funny. I decided today to really kick it up a notch by coating just about every inch of my body with the wonderfully fragranced cellulite cream, then, I got out the old Saran Wrap and made myself look like a plastic mummy, straight out of the tomb. Topped it off with a pair of sweats and a long sleeve shirt and did my work outs. Ladies, let me say that if you can possibly tolerate doing this, go for it! I really, really worked up a sweat. The thermal effect was incredible. I know that it's a bit of a hassle, but if you don't mind taking the time, it's really worth it. I am happy to report that I finally seem to have the eating disorders under control. It has been over a month since I started my eating recovery program, and am feeling incredible. Yes, initially there was quite a weight gain which felt very scary. But I knew that my body was doing what it had to do. Continuing to do the LL workouts, practicing the VT to overcome the mental blocks that seemed to always bring on defeat, and finally, every evening and morning, with the exception of one, using the Body Wrap System, progress has been made! I am so excited to report that yesterday, when getting dressed, I noticed that the new clothes that I had purchased for my birthday, which was at my all time highest weight ever, were very loose! Do you know what that means? Life Lift really does work for even the most stubborn of cases. We all know of the incredible health benefits seen from using the LL breathing technique, and now, I have become healthy enough to allow my body to shed those unwanted inches all on its own. I'm not finished yet, of course, but the game is afoot, and the best part? All without one ounce of dieting or deprivation. Hallelujah, one more victory to the credit of Life Lift program. I think I'll just stand and do a little jig right now, if you don't mind, maybe hum a tune, also.I want to make sure that everyone understands that this did not happen overnight. It has been a long time coming, but it is happening, nonetheless. I knew it would work and was prepared to invest the time needed. Now just consider this, how long do you think it would take, using ANY other method available, to nurse me back to health, solve 22+ years of eating disorders and get a jump on the road back to slimness. Wow, I'd say a lot longer than a month or so. If you are not seeing the inch loss that you expecting or at the rapid pace that you had hoped, remember this, all of us have our own personal circumstances and health issues that can slow down the visible results of the program. But they are occurring, weather you are able to view the visible confirmation yet or not. It will come. I has to, there is no way it can't work, and you must believe this. Oxygen burns fat, plain and simple. I know that most have seen very early results of their efforts, and that is absolutely wonderful, so everyone who is at goal or is still working towards it, rejoice, you're a day and a breath closer than yesterday and tomorrow is not all that far off. Enjoy today, because it's the only right now that you have, and keep breathing! Sincerely,Tami
Guest guest
Tami, Congratulations on your inch loss! Also thank you for another inspiring message. I have to keep a box of tissues next to the computer now when I read your posts. I am very happy for you because there was a time when I was bulimic myself. I was able to stop on my own in high school but I did seek professional help years later. Now I am enjoying the benefits of LL all around. Keep up the good work! Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
Oh Tami, as usual you have given me the uplift I needed for today. I am so very happy for you. I am especially happy that you have your eating disorder under control. That in itself is a tremendous step. Isn't it great to have hope? I myself don't have a whole lot of weight to lose but have a tremendous amount of cellulite on my thighs and could really stand to lose a number of inches and tighten up. Also my upper abs have a lot of inch losing to do. So far I haven't seen too many results but I refuse to give up. The body wrap makes my skin feel teriffic and so I will accept that for now. I know my body is different and I am learning to accept that but it is really hard sometimes. I had a really bad setback this past weekend. We were out of town and I tried really hard to stay with foods that are good for me. I ate alot of veg, whole grain bread, salads, and lean proteins. I was gone 2 days and gained 7 lbs! That's a little discouraging. I am now looking at what is causing such a gain in such a short time. I really think it is the wheat products and dairy products, because I also have alot of congestion. I am getting off those things for a while and see what happens. I love wheat products but will stay away from them for a while and see what happens. I've already given up cheese for the most part along with caffeine. Even if it takes years for me to get to where I want to be, that's okay because at least I'm working in the right direction and improving my health and that's the most important part. I didn't get in this shape in a few weeks and I know as long as I'm breathing and eating right that it will eventually come. Take care all and have a wonderful rest of the day, and God Bless, Getting closer > Hi guys, > How are you today? Guest guest
Michele, Thank you for answering my post with such a personal message of your own. I am truly glad that you were able to walk away from the terrible affects of bulimia. I hope that you were able to break free before you suffered too severely. It is so strange to me that after 20+ years of bingeing and purging, that I am free to enjoy life, friends family and now, the nutrition of good food. Your message has truly brightened my day! Sincerely, Tami
Guest guest
, Thank you so much for the encouraging reply to my post. Don't stress too much over the weight gain. If anything, do a few extra breaths through out the day, and you should be doing great in no time. Today I had some really incredible results of the Body Wrap System, very accelerated. I think this was due to the plastic wrap. It felt a little weird, but sure did the trick. Don't get discouraged with yourself or Life Lift, due to slow changes. It took me a very long time to see true change, but because of this, I know that I'm getting healthier on the inside and the inch loss that I am now experiencing, is going to be permanent loss. And don't forget, any time the body losses anything too quickly, it tends to go into a state of shock and is will ultimately fight against you. Take it slow, enjoy the energy and health benefits, and when your body is ready, you will see the changes on the outside, also. Sincerely, Tami
Guest guest
Hi Tami, This is a great message. Aren't you just something! Your commitment is just thrilling. There is no way you won't achieve results. This idea you had is not so crazy. When I travel I find I eat more than usual and I often eat things my body is not used to, so I actually sleep with the cellophane wrap over the Night Magic and the best part is that I have always come back thinner in spite of the extra food intake. Sometimes if I am feeling a little porky in the middle I will do the same in the daytime with the Cellulite and Fat Reduction Cream. It really is funny how the thermal affect does magnify your results. Keep it up. I just love hearing all of these great messages from you daily. Guest guest
If the chlorine was pure and the sodium pure sodium as well, maybe lol. Works at the atomic level. Chlorine added to water is usually not. Good thing!!! "Sodium atoms have 11 electrons. Two of these are in the lowest energy level, eight are in the second energy level and then one electron is in the third energy level. This is a very unstable arrangement, and the element sodium is a highly reactive, deadly white semi-solid that will burst into flames on exposure to the air or will burn through human flesh on contact. A reactive substance. Chlorine atoms have 17 electrons. Two in the lowest, eight in the second and 7 in the third energy level. This too is a very unstable arrangement. This element is a gas at room temperature and was used in World War One as a poisonous attack weapon because of its high reactivity with human lungs. These two atoms were made for one another." I'll not be visiting when you try this lol Bruce Getting Closer This looks very familiar, I'll find it yet:http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/topics/IonChlorine likes to grab an extra electron from sodium, and becomes sodium chloride(salt) does that mean I can just add sodium to the bathwater and get rid of chlorine that way? Guest guest
For chlorine one can get a good filter for about 50.00 that removes it. Chlorine is both an iodine antagonist (halogen) and very toxic which combines with other elements in the water making it even worse.. Guest guest
Bethann, I use vit C tablets to get rid of chlorine in the bath tub when I travel. At home I have a shower filter and we are not fluoridated (yay). Vit C powder is cheap as well and while I have no science to back me up I bought tablets specifically for this at my coop and when I take a bath in chlorinated water I get no reaction on my very sensitive skin. So it does something good : ) Besides I kind of like the idea of absorbing some vit C that might not bind to the chlorine. Karin > > Yeah, I know it's toxic. Guest guest
Here's what I found on google search " epsom salts " chlorine. Straight from the makers of epsom salts, seems magnesium will compete with chlorine on for binding sites on the skin, thus protecting, even after chlorine exposure swimming in pools. Guest guest
WOW, OK. Thank you for the info and the link.. But I thought I read somewhere that it helps with the fluoride in the bath water too, and that's what I couldn't find again. However I was so tired by that point that it's possible I either misread it, or got it mixed up:) Epsom Salts are cheap and easy to come by. Guest guest
Pamela:) You can find shower filters on every website that sells water filters. Most of them sell a shower head filter too. And bath balls that can be attached to the faucet to filter bath water. Most of them only filter chlorine, but if someone knows where to get one that filters fluoride too I'd like to know. The daughter wants one when she gets her tax return. They run anywhere from 30.00 to 100.00 and filter varying amounts of water before they need to be changed. Some have filters you can change and some are sealed units. Keep in mind the need to change filters and check how much they charge for filter replacements, how often, and if you can easily find the replacement filters. Personally I look on eBay. They seem to have some good RO filters and generally speaking the prices are decent. And the same seller usually carries the replacement filters. I've seen shower filters and bath balls on eBay too. But if anyone else has a link to more reasonably priced filters, I would be interested. I'm looking around. But it has to be something that filters fluoride and chlorine. Bethann If we could sell our experiences for what they cost us, we'd all be millionaires. Abigail Van Buren Pamela Vasquez wrote: > > > Can you tell me where to find a filter like that? Guest guest
On Ebay check out KDF or Dual Media shower filters. $35.00 to your door. RO is the only thing that gets rid of florides. That's pricey. Jim From: Bruce <bruce@...>iodine Sent: Tue, December 29, 2009 10:58:00 PMSubject: Re: Getting Closer My health food store had one, Not fluoride no. Guest guest
For fluoride ro is about the only way other than a rainwater tank on the roof A few places that claim to take out " some " fluoride also admit it adds aluminum, not wanted. If it was available it would be easy to find. Myself, if I was on floride system likely would take shorter baths rather than showers and focus on elimination, and consider moving (rather difficult or impossible for the majority I know.) Unfloridating has been done, but takes a lot of collecting of scientific evidence, support from many, and making a lot of noise with good planning. Good evidence is the many countries, states, and cities that did so for health reasons. They may call you a nut case, but hard to do so to leaders of many large cities and countries that stopped due to solid evidence of harm. Guest guest
Despite dental pressure, 99% of western continental Europe has rejected, banned, or stopped fluoridation due to environmental, health, legal, or ethical concerns Only about 5% of the world population is fluoridated and more than 50% of these people live in North America. First list on google for countries that banned fluoride http://www.fluoridation.com/c-country.htm Bruce
