Question About Flushes

Hi All,

I have been lurking for awhile and I would like to extend a strong,

heartfelt thank you to everyone! My wife is currently undergoing extreme

pain due to gb attacks. The surgeon said that she had multiple

stones(UltraSound) and that she should schedule surgery to remove her Gb

ASAP. When we asked questions regarding alternate, less invasive techniques

he was indignant and said that none work and that you CANT pass gb stones.

He was VERY cavalier about going in and removing her gb.

History: She is 26 yo and we just had our second child(January). Several

family members that we have spoken to that have had their gb removed report

that they're actually worse off(except for the pain) than they were before.

She has had two attacks that just last week. Each one starts slow and gains

in intensity until finally she is curled up in a fetal position in tears.

When I massage her gb reflex point on her right foot and hand, it eases the

pain and discomfort, but when my hands begin to cramp and I stop, it comes

on with a vengeance.

We have started with 1/4 tspn Gran. Lecithin and 3 Milk Thistle Seed

Extracts caplets a day. She has started drinking Organic, Raw apple juice

and taking a natural laxative. We are looking to due a cleanse(flush) this

weekend, but we're hesitant because of the frequency and intensity of her

episodes. Has anyone had a stone become lodged when attempting a flush?

Also, are the flushes generally painful? She endured natural(drug free)

childbirth, so I know that she has a high pain tolerance, but she tells me

that she would gladly endure labor everyday in place of the pain these

attacks give her.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.
