I need O-compliant diuretic herbs or whatever please???

The following foods are compliant, I think, but I don't know about the herbs.

Check at the Dadamo brain trust.

Foods:

Watermelon: Not just a great summertime treat, this fruit acts as a mild

diuretic.

Dandelion greens: One of the most effective diuretic food, these greens are

contain a lot of potassium. Perfect for salads, look for young, tender greens

before the yellow flower has been formed, since they become bitter as they get

older.

Parsley: Don't just use it for garnish, add bunches to salads or use instead

of lettuce in your sandwich.

Celery, watercress, carrots: Great salad ingredients for minimizing water

retention.

Lemon: Squeeze a little extra into your iced tea.

Garlic: Consume in moderate amounts.

Herbs:

Uva Ursi: Helps dissolve kidney stones, healing to the genitourinary organs,

treats bladder infections.

Marshmallow: Healing to the kidneys, a very soothing herb, high in vitamin A.

Juniper: Strong diuretic, works as an antiseptic within the urinary tract,

helps dissolve kidney stones and prostate sediment, blood cleanser.

Buchu: Effective in the treatment of cystitis and urethritis, absorbs

excessive uric acid.

Cleavers: Valuable diuretic, also taken for kidney stones.

Corn Silk: Fights infection in the urethra, bladder, prostate and kidneys,

soothes and relaxes, helpful for frequent urination, reduces kidney stone

formation.

Dandelion: A detoxifying herb, stimulates the kidneys to remove toxins from

the urine, induces flow of liver bile, reduces serum cholesterol.

Yarrow: Mild diuretic and urinary antiseptic, an astringent, reduces fevers,

anti-bacterial, antiseptic.

Gravel Root: Increases the removal of waste by the kidneys, helps prevent the

formation of kidney stones, helpful for all urinary tract problems, it works

on the : kidneys, liver, bladder and prostate.

Hydrangea Root: Increases the flow of urine, will remove bladder stones and

relieves the pain they cause, relieves pain, alleviates backache due to kidney

distress.

Enjoy your bathroom visits.

Thanks a million Max - a really nice list - I have the encyclopedia, and

will check out the herbs there. (My computer doesn't like the brain

trust - inferiority complex no doubt.)

My lawn is usually very good about the dandlion greens (tough if the

neighbours do not appreciate my herb garden) but apparently they do not

like it this cold - there are not even any old hairy toughies outside my

window :-) There's one place way other side of town that may have such

things to purchase - I'll let my fingers do some walking...

Namaste,

Irene

Automatic salad dressing from the killer guard cats and local escargot

you mean?

Fortunately it rains here too - acid rain - digests it all off :-)

Maybe in your neighbourhood - nobody here has money to argue with mere

weeds :-) Too busy doing drive-by shootings. It's only fun if they can

hassle *people*; like calling the city to make trouble maybe but lift

more than a phone finger and spend dough on weed killer? no chance.

I jest but it's not that far from the truth either - this is not the

hoity toity part of town.

:-))
