Thanks a million Max - a really nice list - I have the encyclopedia, and will check out the herbs there. (My computer doesn't like the brain trust - inferiority complex no doubt.) My lawn is usually very good about the dandlion greens (tough if the neighbours do not appreciate my herb garden) but apparently they do not like it this cold - there are not even any old hairy toughies outside my window :-) There's one place way other side of town that may have such things to purchase - I'll let my fingers do some walking... Fortunately it rains here too - acid rain - digests it all off :-) > and other neighbors like > to squirt them with weed killer. Maybe in your neighbourhood - nobody here has money to argue with mere weeds :-) Too busy doing drive-by shootings. It's only fun if they can hassle *people*; like calling the city to make trouble maybe but lift more than a phone finger and spend dough on weed killer? no chance. I jest but it's not that far from the truth either - this is not the hoity toity part of town. :-)) Irene -- Irene de Villiers, B.Sc; AASCA; MCSSA; D.I.Hom.
