Guest guest
*Diet Coke ( or any soft drink) is poison!! * How it negatively affects you depends on you. All the questions you have are very individual. Your results will depend on how well you follow the diet and adapt it to your individual needs. But you will have results. So, I suggest focusing on improving the diet as much as possible and then you will be able to tell us all that it has done for you. Ideas for optimal results: Eliminate all avoids Best proteins - beef, turkey, lamb, salmon Fruit & veggies - eat lots and as much *raw* as you can Grains - minimal to none This is what you want to work towards. Guest guest
, There have been studies done by the Farmington group that links osteoporosis to diet coke consumption. I have a friend in her late 50's who was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and she has drank diet coke all her life. However, she refuses to acknowledge the link and continues to drink it. Regards, Sharon (Ontario) Canada Question for the BTDTs Hello! I have a question for all of you who have been there, done that with the Type O diet. I am just starting. (Welcome to day 4!) Here are a few questions I have: 1. Have you lost much weight with this? 2. Did any of you have fertility issues that following this diet helped correct? 3. I'm a huge diet coke head and skim milk latte addict. I've read that diet drinks make you crave sweets. I have cut back to allow myself one can of CF diet coke after 6PM (when I'm not likely to start eating sweets). What are the other negative effects of diet coke? coffee? Thanks in advance! Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group. No you shouldn't stop trying to post here. is always working on issues and doesn't always send posts as fast as we would like answers. Also, we are sometimes get busy and don't check the board or our e-mails as often as at other times. I can only say this is a healthy way of eating and for many people, by switching to eating healthier they find themselves loosing weight. Also, if you get online and start searching for most sweeteners you will see we don't pass them out of our systems like we would sugar. There are people who have a lot of different physical problems from this. You would do well to go to this food index on the Dadamo site and try for a while to use just the sugars listed for type O. http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/typeindexer.htm This address will also give you the latest list of foods, as more are tested and added over time and new, better equipment is developed and used for checking results of foods. There are others on this board who have a lot more knowledge about health and diet than I do. I'm sure you will probably hear more from them than I can think of right now. I have no knowledge of fertility issues, so I couldn't answer anything on that. , I'll be looking forward to seeing and hearing from you again. > > Hello! Guest guest
Hello, I lost about 15-20 pounds initially, which brought me to my lowest adult weight. This was actually doing a modified version of BTD before I learned of D'Adamo (no wheat, no dairy, and for me, no eggs). I did have fertility issues (endometriosis and whacked out hormone levels) which corrected enough for me to conceive and give birth. I also did chiropratic, acupuncture, and a medical protocol (HcG shots, some other meds). This was after a lap showed that my endo had grown back worse than it had been after my first surgery to eliminate it. I would also strongly urge cutting out the soda, for fertility reasons if nothing else! Aspartame is shown to have bad effects on fertility.
