Guest guest
Hi Mo, thank you for your advice. Yes, this idea was first put to me by Sheila and I've kept it on the 'back burner' only because my son has had an awful lot of doctors and tests in the last year and he's getting pretty fed up with it. However, I am going to put the idea to my GP (sympathetic) and to my sons consultant. It could explain a great deal, though the thought of him actually being hypo t fills me with dread as I'm having such a battle myself with getting well & am currently not doing (mentally) at all well. But yes, I will persue this. Can/ will the NHS test a child's adrenals or should I do this privately ? As a follow up note to all of you who were so kind as to share your experiences with bullying at school and the anxiety caused, I would like to let you know that my sons school spoke to all the children involved, had a role play session with the entire year to show them how bullying feels and spoke to the parents of all the children who were actually physically involved with bullying my son. I also had an apology in person from the head. I was impressed and uplifted by this, and so far, things have been much better in the playground. good energy to you all, julia
