That is a good one to remember about only living in the day. Your dad was also wise and I couldn't agree more..."let' s help people." Ditto to everything else and "peace and love." There are wonderful people "here, and gone." Thanks for your support and kind thoughts. Hope you, and all enjoy good weather and have a pleasant day. hugs Carlene > > > From: Carlene carlene.grimshaw@ ...> Subject: Re: Co-ownership> > Date: Wednesday, January 27, 2010, 2:29 PM> > >  > > > > > Hi to everyone - It is 6:00am in my time zone in Australia. Hope everyone is doing okay, today. Although I have lost track of time I think it was about two weeks ago that I quietly left the group. As pleased as I am to return I see that I have come back in at the end of a chain of events out of my control. Events that have impacted every one of us. BTW My computer is only allowing me to type very slowly. Hope I get to place my messages today. If you don't hear from me at some point you will know why. Unless this is playing up?!> In the meantime Sue has left and Pam returned briefly. More on this later when my computer works better. But I want to share my opinion about why I believe our group (happens to other groups, too) has had its share of co-ownership woes.> You might remember a long time back when Dominie ran the group on her own. It was professionally managed and that worked for her with only one moderator for awhile. Then when Dominie handed the reins over to Heidi - Heidi took Sandie on as co-owner. Co-ownership problems developed between the two of them. From that point on there has always been two co-owners. And co-ownership problems have always been the result. Because you have two different people sometimes with completely different ideas trying to run the group.> I had just asked Pam to consider reinstating me as either owner or co-owner. More on that later. Since Pam has left and she has placed me in as group owner/manager I have decided to go back to the Dominie model of one owner only. This will eliminate partnership problems that as you would know occur in the business world frequently.> I'm sharing this epiphany to hopefully show that no one co-owner throughout the group's history is at fault. Everyone tried their best and simply moved on. It's important that we move on, too, and return our group to a peaceful, pleasant place to share messages and support one another.> When my computer fixes itself (I'm typing like a tortoise) I will post more. Have a peaceful day.> hugs> Carlene>  >
