Hello,

I was on this list briefly last summer, then got off, and am now going

to get back on. I had my son, had my first ever attack, wasn't

diagnosed for almost a year (my MD prescribed zantac for reflux!).

Finally went to the ER during an attack, and they diagnosed it right.

Didn't want surgery. Found this list. Did two flushes, had success.

Got pregnant again. Didn't have another attack, so forgot about it

all.

Had another attack 2 weeks ago. Then again Sunday night, with

off-and-on pain for the last 4 days. I've been slogging apple juice,

but I am so hungry!!! I need to have more calories than that for

nursing!

What I need to know how to do is plan my meals. What *do* you eat?

What are some good, easy, fast meals that are filling? How can I kick

the cheese habit?

I've been subsisting on apple juice, Spirutein shakes (using milk - I

guess I should use juice instead?), and raw beets (yuck - tastes like

dirt to me). How long after my last pain episode before I try a flush

again? I tried one my nutritionist gave me and it didn't work as well

as the one I used last summer (most popular on this list). Her flush

used Coca Cola, of all things (in addition to the olive oil/citrus).

It also didn't call for a fast. I should have tried the one I knew.

Anyway, I just need to see what some of you eat all day ;).

Thanks,

Amy
