To All,

To some of you this will not be a surprise. As of today I am resigning as group owner. I wrote Pam yesterday telling her why. I asked Sherry and Pam if either would like to take over as group owner. Sherry has declined. She has too much going on in her life right now and says she does not think she can give the group the time it needs. I have not yet heard from Pam.

I told Pam that if I did not hear from her later today I was going to resign anyway. Earlier she had asked me to give the group time. To wait. So I did.

The group has become a hostile and lonely place for me. It would seem that the mistake I made awhile back with one member has caused a wave so big it has resulted in me now leaving. I cannot repair this, although I have tried. I have been cut off. I no longer exist to this person. To have that status in my own group, well, I sure you would all agree it is time for me to go.

I will leave it all up to you to decide what you are going to do.

Oh Sue, that is so sad! You are the reason so many people come to this site in the first place. You are highly intelligent as well as having a great sense of humour. I'm extremely greatful for all the wonderful advice you have given us.

Unfortunately there have been a couple of people here who profess to be good Christians but certainly don't act it.

I wish you well and please take care of yourself.

HelloI am very sadden to see leave this group. I personally would like to see back. She has been one of a few who has helped me tremendously with my FM-CSF. She has inspired me to seek other alternative means that perhaps I may not have thought of. God uses us as a vessel for others. She is a vessel for this group. It will never be the same without what was meant to be. I implore you all to ask her back. Please. She is needed.Betty

Betty - I can understand your sadness about Sue leaving. Especially as you found so much inspiration through Sue. She did leave of her own accord and also left a message that if anyone needs to contact her that Sherry has her email details.

I hope that we can also continue to share and support you in helpful ways as well. No-one can replace Sue. Yet, we can all share our own unique journey with FM-CSF and continue to support each other. Take good care of yourself.

Since I was in the loop with Sue about everything group-related I have a

few things to say about her resignation letter below. As group leader it

is important that known facts are presented. Especially as Sue's letter

clearly refers to a current, active, group member.

Where Sue has said that " The group has become a hostile and lonely place

for me " - this is the same statement Sue had made when she experienced a

prior problem regarding a moderator who left the group some time ago. So

the same statement has been made about two different situations. And two

entirely different people.

The " mistake " Sue is referring to involves a letter written by her that

she fairly recently sent to a current member. Someone Sue said she

enjoyed a long, close friendship with. Sue sent me a copy of the email.

In my opinion...it was badly written and so negative that I would

personally have been insulted had I received an email like it. I am

certain that any one of you would probably have felt the same way.

The current member had already experienced a traumatic incident within

this group some time ago. Which makes Sue's " mistake " - the recent email

she sent to the current member -inappropriate under the circumstances. I

also saw Sue's apology letter which in my opinion was written in such a

way as to only further exacerbate the situation. Which it did. Although

the current member did accept Sue's apology it appears that tensions

still resulted.

Sue also shared with me that she had a " huge life. " And that the group

could become a " casualty " of her " huge life. " Meaning she had a great

deal of things to deal with. This is understandable.

Apparently, Sue's reasons for leaving went beyond the " mistake " and

relationship breakdown she is referring to.

Sue possesses a vast wealth of knowledge and shared so many of her

talents with our community. I am grateful. We are also fortunate that

Sue has left behind an abundance of knowledgeable posts in our database.
