Have you tried asking on the D'Adamo messageboards about it ?

I would'nt have thought there was much margin for error, but if you doubt it

unfortunately the probable only solution is to do it all again.

Don't forget that we will still all have little niggly things within the neutral

category which may not agree with us as individuals.

Good luck

Tamara,

Just because you are a secretor won't keep you from reacting to certain foods

even if they are on the list, if you have a natural sensitivity to them.

Secretors can however loose weight by eating more like a non-secretor.

Thank you for the information on butter. It is always best to know the facts.

incorrect secretor test?

Sometimes I wonder if my secretor test was in error. I was convinced

that I was a nonnie, but the test said I'm a secretor?

Neither coconut oil nor avocados seem to bother me, but sugar hurts me

big time. Then again, I think sugar is no good for anybody, and D'Adamo

is in error to classify it a s a neutral for anybody.

It's expensive to take the test over again.

Well maybe i haven't been strict enough to feel sensitive to avoids.

Do you like pinto beans? They're neutral for nonnies. I also found that

spelt was worse for me than regular wheat. My opinion is that we weren't wired

for refined foods like sugar. We were supposed to eat it gradually by chewing

on a sugar cane.

I would recommend that you eat to the non-secreter diet and see if it makes

you feel better. After a couple of weeks, introduce foods back into your diet

and see if they make you sick. Remember where the diet is broad brush, we are

individuals and will tolerate foods differentlt.

I must admit I balk at avoiding some of my favorite foods like oranges

and avocadoes. I probably haven't been compliant enough with them to

develop a sensitivity. I'm very compliant with avoiding cauliflower, as

I don't especially care for it; though i have trouble believing that

it's bad for me.

I don't use the D'Adamo message board or the rest of his website much,

as my computer freezes whenever i go there. But this summer I will be

out of town and using either friend's computers or the ones at the

library, so maybe I'll take a peek.

There was periodic discussion about this on the A list (when there was

an A list). [i'm a mostly lurking A, BTW, so 'scuse me for butting in!]

There was speculation that the character of saliva changed in the

process of mailing, especially during warm weather, that could give an

incorrect result.

And what is the story with a-b-? Don't they test as secretor but

really ought to eat non-secretor?
