Dawn. Will everybody please send a copy of what you written to the RCP to

me please so that we can put them all on our web site. I am tired of sending

responses out to such organisations and they never even acknowledge receipt,

never mind actually taking any action. We need to be seen that we at TPA-UK have

done everything we can to make the RCP realise what a terrible mistake they

have made and how they are putting the lives of sufferers of the symptoms of

hypothyroidism and its mimics in danger. We need the whole world to see.

I can't view the newsletter. All that I can see is the words, but I can't click

on them to open the file. Is the newsletter anywhere else as well? I had a

quick look on the TPA UK site, but couldn't see it.

- it's a PDF - Do you have Adobe? If not you should download it. I have put the

newsletter in our FILES on this forum web site under the heading " 16th

March Spring Newsletter " and you can see it there. I have also asked Lee

to upload it to our web site which should be done in due course.

I

sent it out to everybody via Individual Emails. Did you not receive it? Has

anybody else not received it ? It is in the FILES under 16th March Spring

Newsletter. I may need to send it out again - but it takes such a long time to

do as we have over 1000 members. Perhaps I sent more than my allocated amount

in one hour - this happened before. I think I can only send out 400 emails in

any one hour.

Apparently I am only allowed to send 400 emails out in any one hour, and I was

in rather a hurry to send out all 1000 odd, so I must stick to the rules. Too

I received the news letter OK and consequently booked one of the hotels for the night of April 17th

If

anybody is interested - we have had a cancellation of a twin bedded room (en

suite) in the village - just half a mile from our cottage. It is a lovely

place. The landlady is Black and the cost is £26.50 per person per

night.  Her details are at the end of the newsletter under' accommodation'.

did you opt to receive No Email? Perhaps you have now received the following

message I sent to every member today. If you have opted to receive No Emails,

perhaps that is the reason. If this is the case, you should change your option

to receive 'Special Notices' so when I send out messages to members and the

Newsletter, you will receive these only - and not get your box filled with tons

of our members has written to me saying she believes we can insist upon getting

the list of members of the committee/working party who were involved in the

creation of the new Royal College of Physician's 'Guidelines on the Diagnosis and

Management of Primary Hypothyroidism', through the Freedom of Information Act.

Do we have anybody who knows how to go about getting such information and will

take on this duty to see if this is possible.

Also,

did anybody see 'Watchdog' last night? I didn't see it myself but says

that somebody had won his case (on another matter) by posting a video on the

Internet. Has anybody got any ideas about what might be suitable to post to get

over our own particular story?

I did not mention in our Newsletter is that we are considering changing our

TPA-UK Logo (Percy Vere) to a new, more serious one, and if anybody has any

ideas for the creation of a suitable design, we would like to know. We will put

these into a Folder in the Files section of our Forum web site and members will

be given the opportunity at a later date to vote for the one they like best.
