Witch Hunt and Candida

Hi All

I too am very worried about this new slap in the face. I'm taking 3

grains of prescribed Armour per day and am not in a financial

position to commence purchasing it. My body simply does not tolerate

Levothyroxine. It seems the more you try to help

yourself......Grrrrrrrr!

This is a blow coming on a week when I have missed yet another week

of work due to a sinus and gland infection, both I believe a result

of Candida. As a result I have decided to change my job working many

hours for minimal pay for one that is kinder to my immune system and

to commence 'treatment' for Candida Overgrowth, a step I have known

to be neccessary for some time but have been unable to kick the sugar

addiction.

I have 2 questions.

1) I am reading Sinus Survival by Ivker. His Candida regime

suggests 200mg Flucanazole PER DAY for 6 weeks as opposed to

recommendations on the files of 150mg per week. This is a big

difference, can anyone shed any light please?

2) I have been to Boots and Sainsburys and both say that Sodium

Bicarbonate is no longer available as a health poduct and all either

can provide is Fiddes Payne Bicarbonate of Soda for cooking and

cleaning purposes but that his would be abrasive to the stomach and

not recommended. I do suffer with acid in stomach (possibly the

Candida) and don't want to make things worse. ANY ADVICE PLEASE?

Thanks for the forum Sheila, don't know where I'd be without it.

Love

Theresa
