If you are interested, there is a lot of experience with this product and others

like it on the CFSN metals list. As a matter of fact, there must be 20 postings

on this product alone for this month in the archives.

http://www.cfsn.com/metlist.html

It has been very interesting to read the various things people have experienced

such as sudden lightheadedness, smelling fishy, sweats, boosts of energy, etc.,

as these types of supplements are very powerful.

In the archives, one can look up by subject, date, etc. Members have tried the

Seagreen, Modifilan, SeaSpray, etc. They have also posted about various places

to find best pricing.

I have had the biggest energy boost from a kelp product called

Seagreens. Other people are getting great results too. One person is

lowering their thyroid meds. It is also used for metals detox. You

can look it up on Google. I have tried so many supplements and this

one is one of the best, if not the best. Be careful at first, you

will get such a rush you might not sleep or be tempted to do so many

things. I found that I calmed down and my sleep is normalizing. I

don't get so tired after meals now. You can look it up on Google. I

hope it works for you!

take every day, they are the one I would never give up.It comes in

capsule form and is derived from seaweed gathered from the Arctic and

is a mixture of ascophyllum, fucus and pelvetia seaweeds. It contains

ALL the vitamins, minerals, enzymes, betaines and compound micro

nutrients and it also has anti-bacterial,anti-viral and anti-

inflammatory agents.. It contains no known allergenic substances.

Basically,it balances the body's micro nutrient balance..... Probably

the best thing is to have a read of the Seagreens website:

www.seagreens.com , or you can ring them up as they are lovely people

and always ready to have a chat. Seagreens were recommended by my

nutritionist and once I started taking them I stopped having colds

and getting viruses. Needless to say, it comes at a price.

Hi

The only problem with Seagreeens is that it is high in iodine cos of

all the sea vegetables and this can be a real problem for those of us

with high antibodies to our thyroid. It caused me to go severely

hyper and then its followed by an adrenal crash.

Shommon from AboutThyroid.Com has also had problems with iodine

and warns against anything over a tiny amount of iodine for thyroid

sufferers with an autoimmune component to their illness.

Hi ,

Seagreens- this wouldn’t contain

kelp would it? Iodine containing supplements have been known to make Hashi’s

worse.

Hi ,

according to my nutritionist there are many different forms of 'sea plants' and they all do different things. The plants harvested for Seagreens were ok'd by her for people with hypo t. I can't say for definite about Hashi's. If anyone has any concerns re trying it, I suggest they read the extensive Seagreens literature, speak to them in person and/or speak to their own nutritionist.

hope that's of help,

julia

water plant and has a concentrated iodine content, 4 x the amount in

Seagreens. The iodine in kelp is also much harder for the body to

synthesise. The plants used in Seagreens are harvested from

waterside plants and there is 195 micrograms of iodine in each

capsule. I wouldn't touch kelp with a barge pole. I've researched as

much as I can re this product and can only say it's been good for me

anyone else should perhaps make their own enquiries.

Hi

It was Seagreens that I took and caused me to go hyper but of course

we are all different but I could only think it was the iodine content

that caused the problem. My understanding is that anybody with

Hashis shouldn't take more than 150 mcg iodine daily and some cannot

even tolerate that I have been told.

My other concern with anything from the sea is the potential to be

laden with heavy metals especially mercury which for many of us is a

disaster especially as I have been mercury poisoned. I wonder if

Seagreens give a guarantee that their product doesn't contain any

heavy metals?
