My ferritin is already low (in range but low) and it makes me really nervous to even try iodine. Is there a protocol that protects that while taking iodine? Guest guest
You need to check out a dr. who does weight loss because chances are no one is going to advertise that they use hcg for thyroid correction. I know of a dr. who uses it on men with low testosterone but he won't use it on women as it's an infertility drug. kinoko From: Amy Green <amygreen53 (DOT) com>Subject: Re: Re: was:Iodoral and Potassium/Iodine & Iron levelsiodinegroups (DOT) comDate: Thursday, January 22, 2009, 12:29 PM So what did you do about it? Guest guest
That is not the protocol outlined by Dr. Simeon. There are some that think they can "improve" it but the original protocol is 500 calories with specific foods. If you want the electronic copy of the book Pounds and Inches I can e-mail it to you privately so you can see the protocol. Guest guest
the woman i know (and her 3 patients) did not go on 500 calories a day and still have success stories. I read his paper and can only say, is anything really cast in stone?Kinoko From: Amy Green <amygreen53 (DOT) com>Subject: Re: Re: was:Iodoral and Potassium/Iodine & Iron levelsiodinegroups (DOT) comDate: Thursday, January 22, 2009, 12:29 PM So what did you do about it? Guest guest
Long term will be the tell tale sign. If she can maintain it off or not. I'd be interested. The group I belonged to did not have success unless they stuck to the original plan. 500 calories isn't hard to do. If done right you have no hunger at all. Guest guest
Yes - it works because you are burning calories from fat. You are getting about 2,500 calories a day. I had no problem after 2 days. Guest guest
I don't have a thyroid. I didn't do it to normalize thyroid levels because Armour did that for me.
