Guest guest
In Dr. Brownstein's Iodine book he mentions SSKI as an effective treatment for sinusitis. Has anyone had any experience with this? I wonder what the recommended dose is and how long treatment takes. Thank you.
Guest guest
, my wife suffered terribly with sinusitis until she started taking natural antifungals. Although she took 32mg/day of potassium iodide (which is similar to SSKI), she also took other antifungal substances such as coconut oil, baking soda, etcetera; so it is hard to say that the KI did the job alone. Anyway, the " shotgun " approach is best for solving many problems with health. Although there are occasionally times when the solutions conflict with each other, it is not the rule. from Israel > > In Dr. Brownstein's Iodine book he mentions SSKI as an effective > treatment for sinusitis. > Has anyone had any experience with this? Guest guest
I use a Neti pot with 1 tsp of " Magic mix " in a cup of water. The mix is as follows: 1/2 cup salt 1/2 cup xylitol 1/2 tsp iodine a few drops oil of oregano a few drops tea tree oil I have to do this every day, more or less. It's what got me interested in iodine. I had chronic sinusitis since I was a kid, and this kills it. Cheap too. Guest guest
What kind and % of iodine are you using in that recipe below? Lugol's? Tincture? Guest guest
-Is SSKI the tincture form? I've not known anything about SSKI...it is just potassium iodide that can be rubbed on skin....just read that from a search.

Guest guest
Xylitol is a sugar with the property that it gloms on to " sticky " bacteria (the type that like to stick to your sinuses,, for instance) and makes them wash away. It's used to treat uterine infections in horses. Kinda like the sugar in cranberry juice helps with UTI's. I tried it on a hunch, but it turns out there is a nose spray made with it (XLear) so I guess great minds think alike!
