I have been on Lugol's since the fall of 2006 and I have seen no

difference in my hair. It was dry and brittle before I began and I

blamed that on being hypothyroid but even on Armour nothing has

really changed with the texture of my hair. My hair is fine and grows

fast but I lose a lot of hair every day. I did get some new grown in

my receding hairline area when I added Pregnenolone though.

I took 25 mg of Iodoral with nothing else for 6 months before I found this group

and after

about 4 months I did notice my hair had become less curly and more manageable

and quit

falling out and started getting thicker again, my teeth were not sensitive for

the first time

in 30 years, my skin not dry anymore and many other things most of all I had

energy and

felt good. I took 3 grains of Armour for 20 years and it never had relived any

of the

symptoms.

I had wavy hair until I had thyroid problems and noticed that my hair started

getting curly

a few years before I found I had thyroid problems.

  • 10 months later...

My hair was the same. Hair loss started right before menopause. I dont know for

sure when it started growing back but what was fuzz after starting iodine is now

about an inch long under the rest. Everywhere. So its kind of odd looking and

difficult to control! My hair is curly So having inch long hair under the really

long hair and the shorter top area is kinda weird! I should probably cut it all

to the short cause it will take forever to catch up to the rest!

Thanks, Donna...I actually understood that iodine could still help despite what

they said about ferritin. I really hope that it does!

Thanks, Cheryl...That's good to hear...How long after starting iodine did you

notice the new growth?

Ok, thank you...Maybe I'm not taking enough iron...I didn't want to take more than 65 mg per day because I've read about bad effects from taking too much. > > >> > > how is your ferritine.for hair ferritine is very important.look also at> > > grape seed extract> > >

When you've been out of work for a while and don't have insurance...All of these

small expenses add up...
