Dear and all,

I realise that I have probably been very dense about salt dosing. When I started taking iodine about 9 months ago, I thought that it was only necessary to take Celtic Sea Salt if you had detox symptoms. Since I didn't seem to have any, I didn't bother. I didn't realise that it supported the adrenals.

Having read your website, I tried using your trick of taking salt to get rid of a headache the other day. It didn't get rid of the headache, but it calmed it down quite a lot and I felt an almost immediate sense of well being/relief right down to my feet. I now salt dose with 2 half teaspoonfuls, twice a day. I take it in the middle of the morning and the middle of the afternoon when I also take my vitamin C. It is the only thing that seems to make me feel calm. I'm not sure if it is entirely due to the salt or the vitamin C too.

I wake up in the night feeling stressed and "adrenal" and sleep little or badly until the morning. My legs feel wobbly first thing in the morning.

Questions are :

(i) What do you think of my schedule for salt dosing?

(ii) Should I separate it from the Vitamin C? Spread them out more?

(iii) What is the upper limit/day on Celtic Sea Salt consumption?

(iv) If I wake up feeling "adrenal and wobbly" in the night, would it be advisable to take some salt?

If anybody else has any thing to say, all advice gratefully received.

MacGilchrist
