It's probably adrenal related. How are your temps in the morning? That

will tell you if you are hyper or something else.

If the Iodine is causing pathogens to react there can be a lot of turmoil for a while . Have you had your blood checked, stool and saliva checked for unwelcome friends lately ----- or ever checked. A lot of people start life with them --- straight from mommy.

Hello! Recently I started to experiment with iodine solution.Lugol's. But I seem to have hard time tolerating it, I get hyperactivefrom any amount! And thus haven't been taking it lately. Today tookkelp (about 10 grams) in my food and I'm having the same hyperactivitythat I get from iodine. It's like a brain hyperactivity which alsoinvolves whole body. I'm wondering if this is detox reaction OR couldI have hashimoto issues?? I have hypothyroidism, not confirmed to behashi though - because of the unreliability of the tests...becausemany people say having even 1 antibodies means hashi. But would thismore likely to be a detox reaction? I don't dare to stress my bodywith any detoxes right now... as having severe adrenal fatigue etc... so trying to build up to be strong before any detoxing......thanks :-) Stay up to date on your PC, the Web, and your mobile phone with Windows Live. Thanks Duke! By the way, what did you mean by " unwelcome friends " ?

Toxins or parasites or something? :) I'm considering a hair analysis

of heavy metals etc...

Yes, both and also the growing calcium. Did you ever do the mineral castle in water and watch them build little towers in science class. There is a possibility that that goes on in the body fluids also. There were and are several studies about that as one of the prostate problems. Some researcher think that the culperate there is a bacteria putting this structure together and feeding off of it. To much for me to understand but I guess it is possible.

A good solution to this is to take Oregano Oil. I did this when having issues. I used Biotics Research A.D.P. My Dr calls it a "gut bomb".

Iodine / hyperactivity

I don't dare to stress my bodywith any detoxes right now... as having severe adrenal fatigue etc... so trying to build up to be strong before any detoxing......thanks :-)

Absolutely. You may also want to look

into a good liquid oregano oil that can be put into veggie capsules, thus

allowing you to control dosage. This way you get none of the excipients

included in tablets. Biotics Research is good and I use and recommend

some of their products, but not their tablets. Also, a sustained release

tablet doesn’t work well for some people even if it is emulsified.

Oregano Oil is good for a lot of things and an excellent product to have around

during cold and flu season. Great for the digestive tract, just make sure

that if you are taking the oil to take it in the middle of a meal. Don’t

take the oil on an empty stomach.

Steph, how much and how long did you take Oregano Oil? I have heard it

is very strong, did you have any reaction to it, like die off?
