Hello All,

Before any research sees the light of the day, there are several steps involved right from conception of an idea to the publication of the findings.

All the intermediate steps like- planning, enrolling participants, informed consent, randomization, intervention, data collection and management, publication, have been covered in earlier discussions. The ethics involved throughout research, are not only self imposed but there is an authority entrusted with the task of overseeing that the research process is going as per the ethical guidelines.

In the discussion we will deliberate on the various regulatory authorities and their roles.
