E-DRUG: Launch of GoI-Initiated Pharmacovigilance Programme of India

Dear ALL,

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), Directorate General of

Health Services with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

Government of India has decided to launch Pharmacovigilance Programme of India

(PvPI). The first phase of the programme is being launched with effect from

15th July 2010.

The Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New

Delhi has been designated as the National Coordinating Centre (NCC). All the

activities of PvPI will be coordinated through the NCC.
