Vijay ------------------------------------------------ India-Drug : Rational drug training for students ************************************************ Dear friends, Drug Action Forum, Karnataka (www.daf-k.cjb.net) is planning a one day training programme on the topic of rational drugs to medical, dental and pharmacy students in different parts of the state of Karnataka (a state in South India). Towards this I request members to let us know about resource materials and persons. The topics outlined are introduction to concepts of rational drugs, fixed dose combinations, irrational/unscientific combinations, WHO essential drugs, antibiotic resistance, how to read drug promotion of a drug company, drug pricing, prescription reading and auditing. This is just tentative outline of agenda and others are welcome to suggest new topics and also new ideas to make the training programme interactive and useful.
