Hello,

Regulating agencies in UK

The MHRA is an executive agency of the Department of Health regulating clinical trials of medicines and medical devices. National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) protects the rights, safety, dignity and well-being of research participants that are part of clinical trials and other research within the NHS. For instance the National Health Social Services ( NHS) plays a pivotal role in enabling

research of the best quality. Another governing body working closely with the NHS is the Research Ethics Committee.
