1. Dear Members,

Many sampling techniques

exist, and these can be divided into non- random and random techniques. In random

sampling (also called probability sampling), everyone in the

sampling frame has an equal probability of being chosen. This approach aims to

make the sample more representative of the population from which it is drawn.

There are several methods of random sampling, some of which are discussed in the

subsequent posts. Non-random sampling (also called non-probability sampling)
