I am very thankful to Dr. Vijay Thawani Sir for giving me an opportunity to moderate this e-discussion on this segment of our e-workshop on RESEARCH METHODOLOGY on NetRUM. Dear Members, I welcome you all for the discussion on "Biostatistics in Research Methodology"Somebody has said in the past-"If I have to live only for a day then I will live it in the statistical class"Why??So that I can live to the fullest extent of my life as the day will take little longer time to come to an end.A statistical class is always seems to be longer. So, in our discussion we will mainly covering following aspects: -Sampling Methods -Types of Data -Descriptive methods -Inferential statistics: Tests of inferenceThe last day of our e-discussion will be different exercises about 'which test should be applied for our research data' and 'approach towards the various research problem'.So, I hope all members will get involved actively in this game of numbers and share your knowledge with others, so as to make it an informative platform. Regards,Dr. Vijaya Chaudhari.JR-3,Dept. of Pharmacology,Government Medical College, Nagpur.
