Dear members

Mortality:

Mortality i.e. the number of deaths, is one of the most basic types of epidemiological data used in BoI reports. This can be expressed as a crude death rate, the number of deaths in a given period (usually 1 year) per 1000 population at risk, or a specific mortality rate (i.e. the rate calculated within a specific population subgroup- often defined by age, sex and cause of death).
