Guest guest
Dear members For comparison of mortality across different populations, standardization (usually for age) can generate meaningful summary measures: the age- standardized rates, which adjust for the different age structures in comparison populations. Standardized life expectancy for different diseases, by age and gender, is often also available and valuable in conducting BoI studies.
