Guest guest
Eileen, anyone can go to the bash, banded, friend/family members of a bandster, medical professionals, and those looking into being banded. Bashes are excellent places to meet bandsters, doctors, medical staff members and have your questions answered. All that and having a wonderful time, to boot! We generally have many speakers, a " before, during-weight-loss and after " fashion show, a free clothing exchange, plus much more. We usually end up on Saturday evening with a dinner and dance. These bashes are put on by an all-volunteer committee, and we are always glad to add new volunteers! There are many positions ranging from the planning committee to people who man the registration tables, obtain items for the auction, raffle items, sell raffle tickets, make signs, help decorate, etc. etc. At this point the planning committee is just getting started, so we're not quite ready to hand out specific jobs yet. We have a date, but that's about it at this point. The " go-to " person for the Seattle Bash is Joanne. You can email her at seajoan@... if you want to volunteer. When time gets closer, we will post about the website. You can join the Seattle Bash email list for updated information. To join that list, go here: SeattleSplash/ Barb S. For those attending please save those gifts that you don't want and bring it to the bash to sell at the raffle. All money goes to help bandsters throughout the year.
