Guest guest
Dear Kaushik,I agree with you. It is still a mystery but we should have our fingers crossed.Recently we came across a lot of recruitments for Technical associates under this program (Salary Rs.20,000/-). I have attached the advt for your reference [Link:http://www.ipc.gov.in/writereaddata/linkimages/PvPI%20Adv226636391.pdf ]. More details:http://pharmaco-epidemiology.blogspot.com/2010/07/pvpi-pharmacovigilance-programme-for.html In fact the DCGI is going to speak on this during the SOPI Conference in New Delhi (26-28 Nov 2010)Link: http://isrpt.co.in/topics.aspx?mid=93I shall certainly be eager to learn more about this Program. After all the second most populous country should certainly contribute to the WHO-UMC data.. All the topics discussed were of great importance and all the moderators did excellent job while presenting their respected topics. I have an request if you may kindly consider giving the members a session/update on the recently lunched PvPI. As you know sir, the Pharmacovigilance link in the CDSCO website is not working and we really don't know where from to get an idea about the said program or how to get our medical colleges/institutes incorporated in the 2nd phase of the programme. I have heard from Dr.S.K.TRIPATHI sir that there is going to be a national meeting at delhi on 24th & 25th Nov to discuss the further course of activity for the PvPI.
