Vijay --------------------------------------- Don't mix alcohol and medicines Certain OTC medicines can be dangerous when taken with alcohol. According to The American Academy of Family Physicians the following should never be taken with alcohol: NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, aspirin or naproxen. Paracetamol H1-Antihistamines that cause drowsiness Anti-cough and cold preparations containing dextromethorphan Herbals like valerian root, kava kava or St. 's wort.
