Hi All,

Is it then false advertising, Francesca, when it is said:

" Description

Calorie Restriction with Optimum Nutrition (CRON) is the only scientifically

proven

way to enhance health and longevity. CRON is outlined in the books and papers of

renowned scientist Dr. Roy Walford. Our goal is to show that CRON can be easily

achieved by anyone, and need not be complex or extreme to achieve better health.

This group offers a supportive, friendly environment to share state-of-the-art

information for a healthier, longer life. We value published, peer-reviewed,

mainstream scientific sources and are not interested in psuedo-science. " ?

The alternate CR group place where they promote levels of CR thought to result

in

longer health for longer life appears to entertain ideas from members who range

from

" CR-dreamers " to " ultra-CRers " and " ultra-optimal-nutritioners " . If they have a

policy, it may be " Calories, Calories, Calories " .

This group, · Calorie Restriction/Optimum Nutrition, is special

in

its moderation and its civility, as in: " We expect all members to respect the

views

of others and to maintain a high level of decorum. Foul language, sexist

remarks,

unconstructive criticism, and advertising are not permitted. " There is too much

not

helpful content of the foregoing in the alternate CR group. Its slogan is

" Calorie

Restriction Fewer Calorie. More Life. "

Viva lá difference. Longer Life with More Health to All by Both?

Sorry Al. Not sure what you mean by " false advertising " . We do in this sentence of the description say:

" Our goal is to show that CRON can be easily achieved by anyone, and need not be complex or extreme to achieve better health. "

However if there's a better way to say it or if I'm not getting your point, please straighten me out. The description btw is a compilation of input by committee and moderators.
