Guest guest
thanks Dale and Ken for your info on Lecithin and Flaxseed etc. I will have a look at Lecithin Fatty Liver with great interest. I'm just a bit concerned as I am very intolerant to eggs and linseed (which I tried out to help with my hot flushes). Can you get Lecithin that is not egg based? is Flaxseed the same as Linseed? Sorry, if I came over a bit know it all on the food thing, I never meant to suggest that it would work for everyone. But, I am a big believer in trying things to see if they work. I'm quite over- exited at the moment because I feel almost normal all the time, as long as I don't eat certain foods. I read somewhere that food intolerance is a bandwagon that everyone is jumping onto, to be honest in the beginning I had no real belief that it would work(that rules out placebo effect, in my opinion). It wasn't until I excluded eggs and then re-introduced them 3 weeks later that I knew I was on the right path for me. I was so ill you would not believe it, if I thought I had had gallbladder pain before it was nothing to that. Anyway, I'm here for advice not to start spouting off again.(Converts are always the worst!!) I am having great difficulty getting the last vestige of discomfort to go,I have tried Echinnacea and a double dose of antibiotics, from the doctor(I got them for an ear infection actually, but Amoxcil is a multi-purpose antibiotic). This was just in case I had been left with a slight infection from stones moving around. I can't say I feel any difference though. So,I am looking for the thing that will help me to feel completely better. Is this possible? My stones always show up on the scan, does this mean I have calcium stones? how do I find out? In answer to Debra, I am not sure if I had a Cholangiogram when I had my surgery. The great man(consultant) came to my bedside and said 'you know what we have done don't you?' to which I said stupidly 'yes'. He didn't volunteer any information at all. I always wished I could go back and ask questions, because I felt afterwards that I had not had my gb removed at all,I was half convinced that he had decided not to take it out. Silly eh? I have not still got it by the way, as I have had scans since then. Bye from Jane.
