Tumor-secreted exosomes

Tumor cells seem to influence the behavior of other cells in the

microenvironment - fostering tolerance of their malignant behavior.

Here the company announces (through the media) that its product can capture

tumor-secreted factors (exosomes) that are thought to suppress immunity

against the tumor cells. It says that it's product can also filtering these

out of the blood, which could have therapeutic effects.

As always, the product must be clinically tested to see if it can be useful

as a biomarker for disease status, or as a therapy. (A standard not

required by practitioners of alternative medicine.)
