Guest guest Posted May 13, 2005 Report Share Posted May 13, 2005 I'm not asking for medical advice....just some friendly advice on diet. I changed my diet but I feel awful. I feel like giving up but know an unhealthy diet is worse. Here is what I ate yesterday: Breakfast: 10 peanuts 1 banana 3/4 cup skim milk coffee Lunch: HUGE salad (greens, mushrooms, soy beans, carrots, cucumbers) with homemade salad dressing (made from pureed chives, steamed carrots, raw tomatoes, parsley, vinegar, pepper, and water) 1/2 cup homemade celery soup (steamed, pureed celery, 1/4 cup skim milk, low sodium veg. broth) 1/2 whole grain corn tortilla 1 Tbsp chopped chicken Snack: fresh pineapple - about 1 cup 1/2 orange 5 raw walnuts feeling low I ate 1/2 cup of regular chili By dinner I felt so awful, I ate whole-grain cheese pizza (I'm laughing....I felt great after the pizza). Here I am, again, today starting to feel awful (tired and almost dizzy). Breakfast: 1/2 cup skim milk 3 walnuts cantaloupe 1 carrot I'm about to eat lunch.
