Thanks ,

I seriously appreciate the good thoughts. I also wanted to tell you that

when I saw my local doc again last Thursday, each count was a few notch's

better. I again took the double dose of Aranesp 400 units and Neulasta 12

mg. (I think it's mg. I have such a bad memory, I can look it up later and

I will tell you if I was wrong) Anyway, the normal Neulasta is 6 (mg?) and

the normal Aranesp is 200 units.

This is the second time he has given me this heavy dose and I had no bad

effects the first time. Also, if it helps me to continue to get better I

feel I can do it as I haven't heard anything negative about either Aranesp

or Neulasta. I haven't researched a lot about it, but the doc and his

parner both said it was safe, that the worst thing that could happen would

be back pain from the neulasta, but that since I had been taking it for

several months that the chance of that was small.

So far they have been right. However, this was the same doc who told me to

take 4mg of Chlorambucil a day instead of 2mg and to take it for 2 months

when I had all ready reach the ultimate level of response at one month.

Live and learn I guess. Also I realize that I have to watch all docs. Even

then it's all a crap shoot anyway. Educated, but still a crap shoot.

Thanks again, Kurt
