Guest guest
Hi Tony: Interesting stuff. It would he helpful if we knew the BMI of the individual. And also to see similar diagrams for people with different BMIs. Perhaps the reason there is not a lot of fat under the skin in the cross sections shown may be because the person had a lowish BMI. Guest guest
Are the feet reversed or is that my imagination? The fat layers may be for the "typical" human sampled. I have virtually no fat on the back of my hands anymore. If you look at a baby's hands the knuckles are set in for a few years. Most of my hair has moved to my nose and ears. I believe there may be a lot of fat under the skin especially in youngers, but the looks of that fat changes for sure. Maybe the character of the fat changes? I don't see a lot of visceral fat. I recall the convict they sliced after execution and he was a fairly well built guy, not a lot of fat and certainly not typical.
