Then why people go to dentist for removing the plaque on their teeth. Why plaque is not biodegradable? responding: We don't think of these possibilities because we are trained against having these kind of thoughts of the body being self-maintaining and self-correcting. We are trained to dependency on use of mechanical devices instead of knowledge in how to use natural substances to chemically alter our internal environment in favor of overcoming objectionable situations and preventing their re-occurrence. The diet is 90 % without animal fat in that country. I came here 26 years ago and I started on eating fries, Burgers and Pizza. You are right these stones are not formed in one day or few months. responding: Your association to the diet as a cause of your gallstones in your earlier post was the reason I questioned you. Some people do not correlate their liver or gallbladder condition to diet, so you were at an advantage in having that information through your culture. Being able to start from a place of dietary self-responsibility was very likely a factor in your being able to keep up your motivation for two entire years. Arjit wrote: We all can not be like since each of us have different will and motivation. My motivation lasted only 2 years. responding: No; nor may we need to do as does himself, or recommends; but it is important to have knowledge of him and others--to have the option to use or discard their ideas, their theories, their practices, their claims of " results " . Groups like this are important as a means of disseminating information we might not ever hear, otherwise. I must share with you a story of dental plaque--in another group I'm in, a woman told the story of her dentist who decided to eliminate carbohydrates from his diet, only eating protein foods like meat and fish for an extended period of time, the result of which was that his body stopped forming plaque! We think of dental calculus (the hardened stuff) as being removable only by chipping it away with dental tools, but, similarly, I've heard, and have experienced, myself, in a limited way, the dietary response of having this material literally flake away from the tooth surface, quite simply as a result of the change in the oral chemistry generated by diet. If that hard, old dental calculus can respond to the chemistry of diet, it gives me hope for those rock-hard gallstones, too. So, these are tales to tell your children when discussing the hazards of Western diets and your gallstones--that way they can begin to think about more possibilities for more than just their gallbladders!! Arjit wrote: >, you are lucky if you can keep your gallbladder in good condition. responding: That is certain! I have a very strong genetic propensity for liver, gallbladder, and stomach problems--so I am always keeping ears and eyes open for all possible ways to help keep these organs functioning the very, very best that they can. We only practice unani, Aryovedic (15000 yrs old), and Homepathic medicine. . Allopathic is the last resort of the people in that country. In my house in the past I and my wife have successfully cured Children's ear infections, Cysts of the skin, and common colds, bladder infections, ulcers with our home made things (learned from our parents). In the last two years I only went once to the emergency for GB pain ( thought it was heart attack), otherwise I managed the pain with biofeedback , and imaginary methods. I have a co-worker in NY. I talked to him about my surgery. He told me that his grandma had her GB surgery when she was around 60 and her doctor told her to eat only low fat diet. Believe it or not that lady died when she was 95 years old. Ajit > > > > > >
