Guest guest
Hi. My name is Sky and I'm new to CR although in some respects I've been practicing for years (probably without the Optimal Nutrition part.) My diet (I'm known for my food-fussiness) is quite good, but I'm not sure if I can get all the nutrients which I need packed into my 800-1000 calorie/day regimen. Here is some info: I'm 5'5 " , weigh 100 lbs. (give or take 2 lbs. in either direction.) I am 45 years of age. I have a small frame. I exercise moderately, but never vigorously, but I have good muscle tone and my health is good except for some gallstones, which bother me particularly after holidays. I presently take LEF Mix caps, and I am working my way up to the 14-cap portion (I have found that the niacin bothers me and dries my skin when I " flush " , so I'd like to avoid that.) I take other supplements as well: sockeye salmon oil 3gms; tocotrienols and gamma E tocopherols; borage oil 300mg; Coenzyme Q-10 100mg; astaxanthin 4mg; R-dihydro-lipoic acid 150mg; Maitake D fraction, and probiotics. I've had problems finding Walford software that is compatible with my Mac, so that hasn't worked out, but I am very concerned about optimizing my nutrition. I am going to be working my way through the files, and I'd love to share my " techniques " and observations (though I'm not much of a scientist) and hope to learn a lot here. Sky ....
