Guest guest
Charmaine, thanks for your suggestion. I think I may well try it when I have a few days to myself! Did your husband take the Epsom Salts for 3 consecutive nights too?
Guest guest
Hi Ziggy, We found a few different recipes for flushes, but the main one he followed is found at http://www.hmscrown.com/Gallbladder.html (If that link doesn't take you there....go to http://www.hmscrown.com and then type in Gallbladder in their search engine and go to Gallbladder Stones An Old Time Home Remedy) He was unable to stomach the amount suggested and vomited the first time he tried it. So then he went with the amount he could stomach and that was 200ml olive oil and then 100 straight lemon juice. On the day he planned to flush he had toast for breakfast, fruit or something light for lunch and fruit juice all afternoon (mostly apple). He would rest up and found that taking the oil and lemon juice took him about an hour. He would take it in liqueur glasses at about 9pm....1 mouthful of oil, then lemon until the glass of oil and half glass of lemon was gone. He would then wait 15 mins or so and then have another......in all 4 glasses. Then he would go to bed and lie all night on his right side. He found he would need to visit the toilet about 3 times the next morning from approx 8am to 1pm. He would separate the fecal matter to find the stones. Sometimes they would float, but the last ones which were yellow and hard looking were actually in the fecal material. All in all he did the flushes 5 times within the last 2 months. The first two a few weeks apart and then the three in a row. The first flush he didn't notice much gallstone evidence, but the second one he noticed a lot of green grape type looking ones floating. When he did the three in a row he didn't get much results until the last one when he got the large calcified looking stones. Good luck with yours, I hope it works for you too. Charmaine PS No he didn't take any epsom salts at all at any time. > Charmaine, thanks for your suggestion. I think I may well try it when I have a few days to myself!
