I haven't been paying close attention but I do have to trim my nails more

often and I need haircuts more often. As for thin spots filling in well,

I'll have to watch more closely.

There were some notes in the CalorieRestriction group where several

highly restricted persons had noticeably less hair, specially in the

legs. They could not conclude whether it was from the diet or just

from normal wear and tear.

However, hair contains about 15% of the sulfur-containing amino acid

cysteine. I suppose the sulfur content of your diet can have an

effect.

Hi all,

has anyone here experienced hair regrowth after commencing CR? If so,

was the regrowth of significant amount?

Has anyone experienced hair loss whilst on CR? Significant amount?
