The Mediterranean diet certainly came through well, smoking and being male were expected to reduce the longevity, but the lack of significant effect of exercise and social activity were surprising to me. Greeks away from home do better? What gives with the memory score being so important? The study being cross-cultural as well as prospective seemed to be significant.
