, I feel so badly for your friend. The doctor's aren't doing anything for her? If she doesn't have insurance there is still help. You're a very good friend and I hope you realize that. /FL

--She goes to 3 local? charity hospitals.. but this latest 3 mos. has been horrible. Mybe if she gets the cancer diagnosis, maybe they will giver her something strong for pain. Her body is desintegrating. She has always been a super woman, and it hurts her too to not be able to clean her house. She can't make her boyfriend happy. regardless. He wakes her up just to hollar at her. He bought a heating blanket, but only 1 not one for her. jerk.

------ I just wish (not possible) that I can stand strong for her. we both cry. they really can't do much for her at this point. She needs 5 surgeries, but there is really no use, if she has liver cancer. she won't do dialyasis, and what's the use to do surgeries? they won't even send her to diabetes classes where she would get insulin. Her broken liver and kidney'( & swine flu shot)pneumonia. they don't even bother trying anymo0re.I actually got her a new meter and test strips. noone in her family will hlep her. they all have lots of money. is the shame. karen
