Thanks so much for your welcoming email. This group does sound like it will be a lot of fun to be a part of as well as a great place to learn more about how other people with fibro gets through each day. I do belong to other fibro groups, but each one is different and I have met so many people from all over the world. You mentioned in your email about the other diseases you have besides fibro, I would love for you to email me about them if you want. Knowing people with fibro and other diseases can be so imformative because I know when new symptoms pop up I always question if it is just the fibro or possibly something else. I have a sister with fibro as well and she experienced some mild to moderate chest pains a few weeks ago. She ignored them, blamed it on fibro and went on doing her chores. At her next follow-up visit to her doctor, she mentioned this to him. He did an EKG on her and found that what she thought was fibro was actually a real heart attack. He was upset with her because she just assumed it was the fibro, probably like a lot of fibromites do. There are so many different symptoms that this diseas puts out, it is always hard to determine what it might mean.
